WORKSHOPS

My workshops are sacred containers for play, presence, and transformation. Whether held in cosy community spaces, at festivals, on retreats, or within ceremonial settings, each gathering is a chance to return to the voice — and to ourselves.

I work with small groups (typically around 8–15 people, though this can vary depending on the space and setting), to ensure each participant feels seen, safe, and supported. Together, we create a shared field of trust, expression, and joy. These spaces are open to all — no musical background required — just a willingness to listen within and open gently.

Each workshop blends technical vocal guidance with emotional and energetic awareness, honouring both the craft and the mystery of the voice. Through heart-centred facilitation, guided vocal exercises, medicine songs, and communal singing, participants are invited to explore their voice as a vehicle for healing, creativity, and freedom.

I offer these workshops at monthly Singing Circles and Cacao Ceremonies, in retreats and collaborative spaces, and soon — at festivals and larger events.

You're welcome whether you're curious, terrified, or ready to soar.

These workshops offer a deeper immersion into the voice as a pathway to self-expression, healing, and presence.

They range from half-day to full-day formats and weave together vocal technique, meditation, journaling, and breathwork to help participants release blocks, open their creative flow, and connect with their authentic sound.

These sessions are suitable for all levels and can be offered privately or for organisations, community groups, and events.

"Sonia’s workshop was thrilling for me. It was so exciting to test out my voice doing things it had never done and revealing its true power. The way Sonia worked with the group was delightful and there was a lot of laughter. She has a way of eliciting full participation from people as she is so kind and so encouraging. I have continued using the techniques she taught to refine and extend my vocal range and I find myself hoping I can do another workshop with her soon!”
